This hotel has particularly good location next to Skaftafell national park. The rooms are fashionable with gorgeous decor, so that guests have essentials.

This hotel was located in a remote area just next door to the Skaftafell visitor center, the sea and mountains and glacier in one direction and out towards the sea in the other. The room was brand-new and beautifully designed with a shower, a hair dryer, and bath sheets in the private bathroom...

The Potato Storage is an incredible place to stay. Hospitable owner, comfortable and clean accommodations, well-equipped kitchenette, and the perfect spot for seeing the northern lights. The wooden environment, strategic location, and welcoming hosts make this a place worth coming to.

Booked studio suite with nice view. There were a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and refrigerators in the room too. The location was remote, short walk to the glacier and national park, the impressive local waterfall, and mountains and glacier in one direction and out towards the sea in the other.

New furniture, en-suite bathroom, well-equipped kitchen with basics provided. Comfortable beds. Close to Skaftafell Visitor Center and Jokulsarlon. Thoughtful touches like extra folding chairs, broom, and a hairdryer. Friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful views of highest mountain range in Iceland. Would stay again.

We asked for apartment and it was gorgeous with gorgeous decor. A microwave, an electric kettle, and a dishwasher were very handy.

The location was stunning and particularly good for trip in Svinafell.

We had an exceptional stay at Potato Storage Motel. The modern and well-designed facilities made us feel like we were living in an Ikea showroom. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, reminding us to do grocery shopping before arriving due to the remote location. The kitchenette was well-equipped, and the beds were comfortable. The location was also perfect, close to Skaftafell/Vatnajökull National Park. we highly recommend this amazing warm place to stay.

Fantastic location - a few steps away from everywhere we needed. Also, it was 10 min drive from Local Guide.
